Helping districts across the country maximize the potential of summer learning programs.

Led by FHI 360, the District Summer Learning Network (DSLN) provides technical assistance and professional development to help districts ensure that summer learning programs nurture students’ social, emotional, and mental health needs while preparing them for academic success.

About the District Summer Learning Network

Shifting Mindsets and Improving Summer Learning Programs.

Across the country, educational leaders are changing the way they think about the opportunity summer holds for their students. Through the District Summer Learning Network (DSLN), we’re supporting districts as they create programs that accelerate learning and foster well-being for participating students. DSLN members are defining a vision for summer that includes a focus on evidence-based practices, academic quality, equity, whole child development, and strong district-community partnerships. DSLN’s long-term goal is to create sustainable programs where every student can experience the joy and promise of high-quality summer learning.
